The FA have dismissed rumours that England boss Fabio Capello has been approached by Russian big-spenders Anzhi Makhachkala, according to Sky Sports News.
Reports had suggested that the Russian outfit, who are currently being managed by Brazilian full-back Roberto Carlos, were interested in bringing in the Italian when he finishes with England after next year's Euro 2012 finals.
Billionaire Sulieman Kerimov finances the club and made Samuel Eto'o the world's highest-paid player this summer.
They have since been linked with a host of the world's top players, including England midfield duo Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.
However, a top manager is said to be one of Kerimov's top priorities.
