Norway defender Vegard Forren has stoked the fires ahead of Wednesday's clash with England by claiming that Wayne Rooney "looks a bit chubby".
Rooney's physical condition has often been called into question, with Sir Alex Ferguson previously warning the 28-year-old that he will always struggle to maintain his weight.
"Rooney looks a bit chubby," Forren told TV2.no.
"They're obviously good players, and many of them are on good form already after three games in the Premier League but we're looking forward to it."
The Manchester United striker will captain the Three Lions for the first time in tomorrow's friendly at Wembley since being handed the armband following Steven Gerrard's retirement.
