Qatar to offer Fabio Capello a four-year deal

Qatar prepare to offer England boss Fabio Capello a £30m deal to help restructure football in the country.

Three Lions coach Fabio Capello will be offered a £30m deal to help restructure football in Qatar, according to a report.

The country expect to secure the England boss on at least a four-year agreement, but hope to have him in place in a consultancy role as early as January 2012, The Mirror reports.

Qatar have no professional football league at present, but plan to use Capello's expertise and standing in the market to launch one and attract some of the biggest names on the planet ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Capello's England contract is scheduled to expire after next summer's European Championships, and the Italian has suggested that he could retire from management after his role with the Three Lions is over.

However, Qatar are offering something outside of management, and could entice the 65-year-old even beyond the initial four-year contract.
