Jack Wilshere has said that England "really stepped up" to secure a 3-1 win over Scotland in an international friendly at Celtic Park this evening.
The Arsenal midfielder provided the assist for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's opening goal before captain Wayne Rooney netted a brace for the visitors.
The 22-year-old told ITV Sport: "I loved every minute of that. We knew going in to the game it would be a great occasion and so it proved. We really stepped up and showed what we could do tonight."
Andy Robertson scored the home side's only goal of the evening inside the final 10 minutes.
