Steven Caulker backs England Under-21s to bounce back from their defeat to Italy, and 'find their rhythm' ahead of Saturday's match with Norway.

England Under-21 defender Steven Caulker has backed the side to bounce back from their defeat to Italy and perform well against Norway.

England were beaten 1-0 yesterday after having a goal ruled out midway through the second half.

Caulker, who was involved in the disallowed goal, admits that he is still disappointed with the decision.

"The ball came across and I headed it back to [Craig Dawson] to put it in," Caulker told the FA's official website. "As far as I'm concerned it was a legitimate goal, but the referee has seen something.

"Speaking to him after, he said it was a push on the striker but I'm not too sure. It was unfortunate, but to be fair they were the better side on the day.

"We are bitterly disappointed, but we'll get together and prepare for Norway. It's a must win, we'll find our rhythm and go again."

England take on Norway Under-21s on Saturday evening.
