After almost eight years, two major tournament finals and 102 matches in charge, Gareth Southgate has stepped down from his role as England manager.
The FA announced his decision on Tuesday, July 16 - just two days after the Three Lions had agonisingly lost to Spain in the final of Euro 2024 in Berlin.
That defeat marked a second successive Euros final loss for Southgate's side, having also been beaten by Italy on home turf in Euro 2020, and despite having a contract until December, and the FA reportedly wanting him to stay on, the 53-year-old opted to step away from the post.
Attention will now turn to the job carried out by Southgate, who took up the reins after Sam Allardyce's ill-fated one-match stint and turned England into regular fixtures in the latter stages of major tournaments.
A plethora of players have emerged, developed and thrived during the Southgate era too, and no fewer than 44 different names have got themselves on the scoresheet under his tenure.
Here, to mark the former defender's resignation from the top job in English football, Sports Mole challenges you to name as many of those 44 players as possible.
