England striker Daniel Sturridge has revealed that the squad are feeling "very confident" ahead of their meeting with Uruguay on Thursday.
The Three Lions were beaten 2-1 by Italy on Saturday in Manaus, but despite the reverse, the Liverpool striker is taking positives from the performance.
He told reporters: "We're feeling very confident. What we have to do isn't rocket science. We need a minimum of four points. There's a lot of confidence and adrenaline. But no nerves or anxieties.
"A draw could be enough. But from what I've learned playing for Liverpool, when it's in your hands you have to deal with it rather than asking for favours from anyone. You have to get the job done."
Uruguay were also beaten in their opening game by Costa Rica.
