Dominic Calvert-Lewin has trained away from his Everton teammates ahead of their trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The striker, who has a very frustrating past with his fitness, has featured in Everton's last 11 matches after missing the start of the season with thigh and facial injuries.
The 26-year-old has also shown signs of recapturing his old form, netting in wins away to Brentford, Aston Villa and West Ham United so far this season.
However, Calvert-Lewin is now a doubt for the Toffees trip to Forest as he trained away from the side on Thursday morning.
Speaking to the press in his pre-match press conference, Sean Dyche disclosed the reason behind his absence, stating that it is precautionary at this stage.
"Dom we're just being careful with, so it's one of them we'll make a decision over the next couple of days, just a bit of tightness". Dyche revealed.
Despite that possible setback, Dyche had positive news regarding Beto, who would be the likely candidate to take Calvert-Lewin's place in the side.

The Portuguese striker was missing from the matchday squad against Manchester United last Sunday after taking a heavy blow to his knee in training, but Dyche said he is set to return.
"Beto is likely, he just got a minor situation that needed some settling down, and that has settled so we're pleased with that, and he trained today which is good."
After starting his first three league games since joining the club from Udinese, Beto has been restricted to only substitute appearances following Calvert-Lewin's return from injury.
Everton are set to be short on midfield options again though, as Dyche has admitted Amadou Onana is set to miss out again, stating a return for the Belgian is "unlikely".
Idrissa Gueye came into the side against Man United, but with Andre Gomes only just returning to training and Dele Alli still out, Everton may be without a senior midfielder on the bench once again.
Dyche takes his Everton side to the City Ground to face relegation rivals in the Premier League's late kickoff on Saturday.
