Everton winger Aaron Lennon has said that he would like to earn a recall to the England side after his move to Goodison Park.
The 28-year-old brought his 10-year spell at Tottenham Hotspur to an end earlier this month to complete a permanent switch to the Toffees, having had a loan stint with the Merseysiders last season.
Lennon's last appearance for the Three Lions came in February 2013, but he has said that he is keen to force his way into Roy Hodgson's thinking ahead of Euro 2016.
"I do want to get back into the England set-up as I've been out of it for a while now. I love playing for England and I've missed it," Lennon told Sky Sports News.
"There are a lot of England players here [at Everton] so hopefully the manager will be coming to watch a lot and that gives me a better chance to show what I can do if I am playing.
"I just want to get back to playing the way I know I can and get a run of games. You need a run of games to get up to form and that is my aim."
Lennon has won 21 caps for England.
