Ross Barkley signs a new deal with Everton having agreed terms with the club last week.

Young midfielder Ross Barkley has committed his future to Everton by signing a new four-and-a-half-year contract at Goodison Park.

The 18-year-old agreed terms with the club last week but finally put pen to paper this morning.

"We like producing our own players, we like developing them," manager David Moyes told the club's official website.

"Ross has already featured and we are delighted that he will sign and we will try and bring him on the way we have with others."

Barkley has made seven appearances for the Toffees this season.
