Everton's Muhamed Besic has insisted that he is happy to play anywhere on the pitch for Roberto Martinez ahead of his debut season.
The Bosnian completed his £4m move to the Toffees from Ferencvaros earlier this week, and he is hopeful of making an impact in the Premier League with his energetic displays.
"I am hard-working and what you could describe as a tough-tackling and honest player," Besic told reporters. "I prefer to play as a holding midfielder, but I started as a centre-back and I'll play wherever the manager asks me to.
"I'm new here so I can't talk about the Champions League, but I'm here to do my best and see how far we can get."
Besic played in all three of Bosnia-Herzegovina's games at the World Cup in Brazil.
