Dominic Calvert-Lewin showers praise on the early work done by new Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has showered praise on the early work done by new Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The Champions League winner, who took over at Goodison Park last month, claimed successive victories over Burnley and Newcastle United ahead of performing impressively against Manchester City at the Etihad.

Calvert-Lewin has clearly benefited from the Ancelotti's arrival, scoring three goals in as many games since the Italian joined.

Speaking on the subject of his new manager on Match of the Day, Calvert-Lewin said: "He is one of biggest managers in the world and as a young kid growing up you saw him on TV working at some of biggest clubs.

"He has a presence about him. That is just from the man he is and what he has done in football. To be working with him on a daily basis is a privilege."

Ancelotti faces his biggest challenge as Everton boss yet on Sunday in an FA Cup clash against Liverpool at Anfield, where Everton have not won since 1999.
