Kevin Campbell believes that the arrival of Roberto Martinez at Everton will improve the team.

Former Everton striker Kevin Campbell believes that Roberto Martinez will be a "breath of fresh air" at Goodison Park.

The Spaniard is expected to be announced as the Toffees' new manager this week following his decision to part ways with Wigan Athletic after four years in charge.

"It will be fascinating," The Independent quotes Campbell as saying. "I think he'll be a breath of fresh air. The way he plays the game, the fans are going to like the style, and I think the players are going to improve, and that's really important."

The 39-year-old will replace David Moyes, who begins a new challenge as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United this summer.
