Everton manager David Moyes has admitted that he has been impressed with Nikica Jelavic's start to his career at Goodison Park and expects more goals to come.
The former Rangers striker has netted two goals since switching to Merseyside in January and the Scottish boss is confident that the Croatia international can rack up the goal tally for the Toffees.
"I think he has done quite well," ITV Sport quotes Moyes as saying. "When he came he had a bit of a problem with his stomach and he has missed a few weeks but he has given us something slightly different and scored a couple of goals.
"If he keeps it ticking over it will be good as Leighton Baines, who is our top goalscorer with four. So it is quite obvious to see where we have been short.
"[Not scoring] can weigh on you and we have had other centre-forwards here who have found it a struggle to score."
Everton have the chance to meet local rivals Liverpool in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, if they can defeat Sunderland in the quarter-final replay this evening.
