Everton have held Aston Villa with a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park.
The Liverpool club dominated the first half, Leon Osman opening the scoring from inside the box with an assist from Tim Cahill in the 19th minute.
Meanwhile, the only real threat from Villa was an unsuccessful strike from Barry Bannan, summoned from the bench to replace Emile Heskey.
Stiliyan Petrov evened things up just after the hour mark with a long-range shot, before Leighton Baines wrested back the lead for the home side from a penalty a few minutes later.
Gabriel Agbonlahor came to the rescue eight minutes from time, heading home a goal to salvage a point from the visit.
