Everton 'to reward Seamus Coleman with fresh contract'

Coleman 'to sign new Everton deal'

Everton defender Seamus Coleman is poised to sign a new contract with the Merseyside outfit, according to the player's agent Hayden Evans.

Toffees manager David Moyes is believed to be keen to keep hold of the 24-year-old following an impressive start to the season at Goodison Park.

"We have held positive talks with Everton and I am confident there will be a positive conclusion soon," the Irish Independent quotes Evans as saying.

Coleman's current deal doesn't expire until 2015.
