Sylvain Distin has revealed that he is keen to agree a new contract to keep him at Everton.
The French defender joined the club in 2009, but his current deal with the club expires at the end of this season.
The 35-year-old told the Daily Star: "My contract is up at the end of the season, there is nothing more. I want to stay. It seems like the club wants me to stay so I am sure we will find a solution."
Distin has spent the majority of his career in the Premier League, also having stints with Portsmouth, Manchester City and a loan spell at Newcastle United.
