Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi has hinted that the Premier League club could make a move for Napoli winger Hirving Lozano at the end of the season.
Lozano has struggled for form since joining Napoli from PSV Eindhoven in a £36m deal last summer and was left out of the squad to face Barcelona last week.
That has led to talk of an early exit from Stadio San Paolo, with Everton one of the clubs tipped to move for the Mexico international.
The Toffees' director of football Marcel Brands signed Lozano for PSV, while Carlo Ancelotti worked with him at Napoli, and Italy-based Jacomuzzi has indicated Everton may make an offer.
"At Everton there is a general manager who bought Lozano and brought him to PSV, they know very well what to do," he told Area Napoli.
Everton have also been linked with £26m-rated Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
