Nikica Jelavic leaves Goodison Park without signing

Nikica Jelavic has left Goodison Park without signing on as an Everton player.

However, the Toffees have confirmed that the Glasgow Rangers striker has returned to his hotel and that the deal is still in the offing.

The 26-year-old has been on Merseyside for the majority of the day to discuss personal terms.

Rangers are believed to have accepted a bid of around £7m for the Croatian international.
