Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that the club is on the verge of signing Ferencvaros midfielder Muhamed Besic.
The 21-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international has recently spent time with the Premier League club on their pre-season tour in Thailand.
With a deal almost completed, Martinez expects Besic to officially join the Toffees before the start of the season.
"We hope things will be wrapped up for Besic soon. We have a good relationship with Ferencvaros, which has been really open and strong throughout," he told the club's official website.
"There are certain details that need to be solved and once that's done we'll be okay.
"Mo already feels like part of the squad. It's been so important for him to travel with us, interact with the squad and get to know us all."
Everton are back in pre-season action on August 3 when they host Porto for Leon Osman's testimonial.
