Everton captain Phil Neville is hopeful that Everton can complete a proposed move for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic before the close of the transfer window tomorrow.
The Croatian frontman has been linked with a switch away from the Ibrox Stadium this month, with Liverpool and West Ham being named as possible destinations.
It is understood that the Toffees have entered the fray for the 26-year-old, with the club's chairmen in talks over a potential move.
Neville wrote on Twitter: "Good feedback on him fingers crossed will be watching sky sports news the next 2 days!!!"
The Merseyside club clinched the signing of Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson earlier this month.
