Joao Silva plots Everton exit

Portuguese youngster Joao Silva is hoping to leave Everton and join Guimaraes this summer.

Joao Silva has revealed that he is keen to leave Everton this summer.

The Portuguese youth international is hoping that the Toffees will allow him to return to his homeland with Guimaraes.

"Everton won't make it easy to leave but it's something that interests me," the 22-year-old told A Bola. "Guimaraes is a club that I've always liked.

"I don't know too much about it but I won't dismiss the possibility."

Silva joined Everton in 2010 but has so far failed to make a senior appearance for the club.
