Evian TG coach Pascal Dupraz has warned his side that they need to be more effective inside both penalty areas following their defeat to Lille on Tuesday.
Strikes from Salomon Kalou and Ronny Rodelin either side of a Jesper Hansen own goal condemned Les Roses to a 3-0 loss at Stade Pierre Mauroy.
Despite making a promising start to the season, Dupraz says that his side need to play better at both ends of the pitch if they are to stay in Ligue 1.
"We're downplaying the fact of being in Ligue 1 much too much," Dupraz told reporters. "We need much more ferocity when we defend.
"We're pretty to watch, but we weren't effective at either end of the pitch. I don't think we did enough."
