Fulham sign Chris David

Fulham manager Martin Jol has confirmed the signing of Dutch forward Chris David from FC Twente.

The Cottagers agreed a fee with the Eredivisie side for David during the summer, but they were unable to complete the deal before the transfer window shut in September.

However, Jol confirmed at a press conference today that the 19-year-old was finally a Fulham player.

David, who is believed to have signed a four-year contract at Craven Cottage, could make his debut in tomorrow's FA Cup clash with Blackpool.
