FC Utrecht get the better of FC Twente

FC Utrecht clinch an emphatic 4-2 win over FC Twente in Sunday's Eredivisie clash at the Stadion Galgenwaard.

FC Utrecht have recorded a 4-2 win over FC Twente in Sunday's Eredivisie clash at the Stadion Galgenwaard.

The visitors took the lead in the 18th minute through Thomas Agyepong before strikes from Timo Letschert and Joel Drommel edged Utrecht in front, but Hakim Ziyech made it level again just before the break.

Following the restart Nacer Barazite put the hosts back in front, and right at the death Sebastien Haller converted a penalty to increase his side's lead and kill the game off.

The result sees Utrecht climb to within a point of the Eredivisie's European places, while Twente slip to two points and a place above the drop zone.
