The Turkish outfit are eager to bolster their wide options and recently saw a move for Eskisehirspor's Erkan Zengin fall through.
As a result, they have turned their attention to two-capped Spain international Capel, according to TurkishFootball.com.
The report adds that negotiations between the two clubs are due to take place later this week.
The 26-year-old has scored one goal during his 18 appearances for Sporting this term.
