Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Diego Carlos to Fenerbahce and Luis Guilherme's possible West Ham United exit.

Aston Villa have reportedly agreed a deal for the sale of Diego Carlos with Fenerbahce.

The 31-year-old has struggled to make an impression on the first team at Villa Park this term, starting just eight Premier League matches.

Carlos has not featured since December 30 due to a foot injury, with the draw against Brighton & Hove Albion set to be the final match of his career in the Second City.

Since making the switch from La Liga outfit Sevilla during the summer of 2022, the defender has played in 60 matches for the Villans, scoring once.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Aston Villa and Fenerbahce are edging towards the transfer of centre-back Carlos to the Turkish Super Lig this month.

The report claims that the Yellow Canaries will pay at least £8.4m for the services of the veteran defender, who is seeking a new challenge outside of England.

It is understood that Carlos will now fly from Birmingham to Istanbul in order to complete medical tests and sign documents ahead of the switch.

Down a central defender, it is believed that Unai Emery's side will commence a move for Sevilla's Loic Bade before the February 3 deadline.

West Ham 'willing' to offload summer signing

Focusing on other player who could depart the Premier League this month, Luis Guilherme has made a poor start to his West Ham United career.

Signing for £25m from Brazilian giants Palmeiras over the summer, there was an expectation that the 18-year-old would play a major part at the London Stadium this term.

However, the teenager has played in just five Premier League games, starting none, totalling a lacklustre 45 minutes of top-flight football to date.

As a result, Sky Sports News are claiming that West Ham are willing to part ways with Guilherme, just six months after his arrival from South America.

It is understood that Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal are keen on securing the services of the wide player, who could link up with compatriot Neymar in the Middle East.

As well as Al-Hilal, there are said to be other potential suitors from Saudi Arabia, potentially clubs backed by the nation's Public Investment Fund (PIF).

With the player not forming part of Graham Potter's plans in East London, West Ham are supposedly looking to recoup as much of the £25m spend that they can this month.

Cornet heading to Serie A?

Staying with the Hammers, The Standard are reporting that Maxwel Cornet is close to his own London Stadium exit following a troubling start to the term.

The winger has spent the first six months of the campaign at Southampton, who have collected just six points in the Premier League and appear destined for relegation.

Such results can hardly be blamed on Cornet, though, who failed to earn substantial playing time under Russell Martin or new boss Ivan Juric.

As a result, West Ham are set to recall the 28-year-old and find him a new loan move for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign, with one club touted.

It is believed that the Ivorian is closing in on a six-month loan to Genoa, who are currently plucking away in the middle region of Serie A.
