Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has claimed that his side "aren't dead yet" as they look to turn around a three-goal deficit in their Europa League semi-final against Sevilla.
The Viola suffered a 3-0 defeat in last week's first leg and will face an uphill struggle to reach the final in Thursday's return meeting in Florence.
"We aren't dead yet," Montella told reporters. "This is the spirit that must carry us on over the next few days. Defeats must be evaluated in their entirety. I am eager to play them again and I think we've got a real chance.
"We have to believe, though naturally that 3-0 result does hurt. What do I ask of my men? Undoubtedly to love and stand up for themselves."
Fiorentina last reached the final of a European competition in 1990
