Nikola Kalinic: 'Fiorentina can win the Scudetto'

Nikola Kalinic says that it is "not impossible" for Fiorentina to become the champions of Italy this season.

Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic has claimed that his side are capable of winning the Serie A title this season.

The Viola have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign and are currently second in the table, four points behind leaders Inter Milan with a game in hand.

"From the start of the season we have been close to the top," Kalinic told Sport Mediaset.

"Many people think that we will fall down, but for me the title is not impossible simply because we have demonstrated that we can play at the same level of the top teams."

Fiorentina will travel to Turin to face Italian champions Juventus on Sunday evening.
