Vincenzo Montella praises Fiorentina performance

Vincenzo Montella says that Fiorentina were "more consistent and mature" during their 3-0 win in Serie A over Bologna.

Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella has hailed the performance of his players during their 3-0 win over Bologna.

The Viola moved up to fourth in the Serie A table, and Montella was delighted at the display of his team.

"Over the 95 minutes, we probably were more consistent and mature than usually," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"We stuck to our characteristics and weren't too frenetic, interpreting the game better than any other this season, so I am satisfied. I hope the team will be able to play like this again in future."

Fiorentina play Sassuolo in their next Serie A match on December 22.
