Juventus see their 100% start to the season come to an end by drawing a blank at Fiorentina.

Juventus's 100% start to the season has been ended by Fiorentina, who held them to a goalless draw at the Stadio Artemio Franchi this evening.

Fiorentina had an early penalty appeal waved away when Stephan Lichsteiner challenged Adam Ljajic and they continued to dominate the league leaders, with Ljajic and Serie A top scorer Stevan Jovetic causing problems.

Viola almost made their supremacy pay five minutes before the break when first Jovetic hit the crossbar before Ljajic slid wide from a one-on-one opportunity.

After the interval Fiorentina continued to create the best opportunities and Facundo Roncaglia spurned the best of these by flashing an effort just wide.

Juve almost found an undeserved goal 20 minutes from time when Sebastian Giovinco had a shot cleared off the line by Roncaglia.

A point sees Juve move three clear at the top while Fiorentina rise a place to fifth.
