Team News: Vincenzo Montella forced into wholesale changes

Fiorentina give Matias Fernandez and Rafal Wolski surprise starts against Atalanta BC in Serie A this afternoon.

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has been forced to rotate his side for this afternoon's trip to Atalanta BC thanks to a number of long-term injury problems.

With Mario Gomez and Juan Cuadrado both sidelined for at least a month by knee and shoulder injuries respectively, there is a rate start for Polish youngster Rafal Wolski, who will play down the right flank.

Massimo Ambrosini also makes his first league start for La Viola in central midfield with David Pizarro suspended, while Matias Fernandez gets a chance to impress just off lone striker Giuseppe Rossi.

Atalanta are without Giacomo Bonaventura in attack, with Maxi Morales coming in to support German Denis in attack.

Atalanta: Consigli, Stendardo, Yepes, Lucchini, Raimondi, Carmona, Baselli, Migliaccio, Brivio; Moralez; Denis

Fiorentina: Neto, Tomovic, Rodriguez, Savic, Pasqual, Aquilani Ambrosini, Fernandez, Borja, Valero, Wolski, Rossi
