Experienced German striker Mario Gomez has reportedly been told that he does not figure in Fiorentina's plans for the 2016-17 season.
The 31-year-old joined Fiorentina from Bayern Munich in 2013, but spent last season on loan at Besiktas after falling out of favour at his Italian club.
The forward netted 28 goals in 41 appearances for Besiktas last term and also hit two goals during Germany's run to the final of Euro 2016, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Gomez is not needed at Fiorentina.
The same report claims that the Serie A side are prepared to sell the forward for £5.9m this summer, which has alerted a number of English and Spanish clubs.
Gomez has scored 263 times in 458 career appearances, in addition to 29 goals in 68 appearances for the German national team, whom he has represented since 2007.
