Yann M'Vila admits that he and his teammates must improve in order to overcome Spain at Euro 2012

France midfielder Yann M'Vila has said that he and his teammates must improve in order to overcome Spain at Euro 2012.

M'Vila, who is expected to start when France face the defending champions, insists that he cannot see Les Bleus beating Spain unless improvements are made after the team lost 2-0 to Sweden earlier this week.

"[Spain] are the favourites for this match and for the whole tournament," he told FIFA's official website.

"If we want to beat them we have to improve, no excuses. I don't see how we can do it otherwise. We're talking about the world and European champions."

France face Spain for a place in the semi-finals tonight.
