Yohan Cabaye has insisted that he has no issue with the increase in competition for places in the France squad following the return of Lassana Diarra.
The Crystal Palace midfielder will be competing for a spot in the team against Diarra, who last represented his country in 2010.
"Lassana is a great player, he's shown that, especially since he was out for so long. He has great qualities which will only improve the level of the team," Goal.com quotes Cabaye as saying.
"The France team isn't me, it's everyone. Again, if Lass can bring his qualities and his experience, everyone wins. Then it's up to the coach to make decisions. There's no problem."
France, who will host next summer's European Championships, will play in friendlies against Armenia and Denmark during this week's international break.
