French Football Federation president Noel Le Graet has ruled out appointing Zinedine Zidane as France's manager after this summer's World Cup.
The legendary French midfielder is currently out of work after taking the surprise decision to step down as Real Madrid boss last week.
Zidane had been tipped to take over from Didier Deschamps as Les Bleus' next manager later this year, regardless of how the 1998 World Cup winners perform in Russia, but Le Graet intends to stick with the current man at the helm for another couple of years.
"Didier Deschamps has a contract until 2020... he will stay until 2020," Le Graet told BFM TV.
Deschamps has publicly backed Zidane to manage the country he represented 108 times as a player at some point in his managerial career.
