Fulham boss Kit Symons has claimed that his side's win over Derby County could prove important in their bid for Championship survival.
The Cottagers beat the league leaders 2-0 at Craven Cottage on Saturday thanks to goals from Nikolay Bodurov and Cauley Woodrow.
The victory has lifted Fulham up to 19th place in the table, eight points clear of the relegation zone.
"It's always nice to get a win, especially against the team at the top of the table, and the manner in which we got it," Symons told BBC Sport.
"It's only three points but it's a big three points given who it was against and how we did it. We scored two goals, we could have scored more and we kept a clean sheet, so it's very pleasing."
Fulham continue their Championship campaign on Tuesday when they make the trip to Watford.
