Fulham head coach Marco Silva is set to recall several of his first-team stars for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at Craven Cottage.
Silva made 11 changes for Fulham's EFL Cup third-round tie at Preston North End on Tuesday and the Cottagers suffered a historic 16-15 penalty-shootout defeat following a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes at Deepdale.
The Portuguese boss is now expected to revert to a similar side to the one that drew 1-1 with West Ham United last weekend for the clash with Newcastle, with Bernd Leno returning in goal at the expense of Steven Benda.
Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen, Calvin Bassey and Antonee Robinson are all set to be recalled in defence, although Silva was impressed with the performance of Ryan Sessegnon at left-back in midweek so he could be given a Premier League run-out in some capacity this weekend.
Sander Berge is expected to link arms in midfield with Andreas Pereira, who has been directly involved in 23 shots in the Premier League this season (seven shots, 16 created chances), the most of any player yet to score or assist in the division.
Raul Jimenez scored in Fulham's draw with West Ham last weekend and he could once again lead the line at the expense of Rodrigo Muniz, with support to be provided in attack by Adama Traore, Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi.
Fulham possible starting lineup: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Traore, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jimenez
