Fulham youngster Marcello Trotta has claimed that "many" Italian clubs are "interested" in his services.
The 21-year-old has spent the previous two seasons on loan with League One outfit Brentford.
He has since returned to Fulham, but with his future at Craven Cottage unclear, Trotta has conceded that he is flattered by the links with teams back in his homeland.
"I have not yet talked with the executives to understand what the club want to do with me. I know that in Italy many teams are interested in me and that makes me happy. Together with my agents I will evaluate the offers," he told tuttomercatoweb.com.
Trotta joined Fulham as a trainee from Manchester City in 2009.
