Fulham are ready to swoop for Asmir Begovic in the summer after the Premier League elite reportedly cooled their interest in the Stoke City goalkeeper.
The Potters signed England international goalkeeper Jack Butland from Birmingham City in January before loaning him back to the Blues until the end of the season.
His arrival was in preparation for Begovic's potential exit, but Manchester Untied now seem poised to keep faith with David de Gea and Arsenal are apparently looking elsewhere for a replacement for Wojciech Szczesny.
Fulham manager Martin Jol may offer Begovic an alternative route out of the Britannia Stadium, and will try to tempt relegation-threatened Stoke with a £4m bid, according to The Mirror.
Current Fulham number one Mark Schwarzer has yet to put pen to paper on an extension to his Craven Cottage contract, which expires in June of this year.
