Fulham are reportedly close to agreeing a new contract with captain Ross McCormack.
Recent speculation had claimed that the striker was keen to leave Craven Cottage, with Middlesbrough said to be his preferred destination.
However, a move to Teeside never materialised and since then talks have taken place regarding an extension to the 29-year-old's current terms in West London, according to Sky Sports News.
It is understood that Boro have had two bids rejected for McCormack, who joined Fulham from Leeds United for £11m in 2014.
