Ryan Tunnicliffe has agreed to join Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season, despite the fact that he only moved to Fulham late last month.
The 21-year-old was convinced by Cottagers manager Rene Meulensteen on January 31 to swap his boyhood club Manchester United for the West Londoners and has gone on to make two appearances for the club.
However, following the recent sacking of Meulensteen and the subsequent appointment of Felix Magath, Tunnicliffe has fallen out of favour at Craven Cottage, which has resulted in him being granted permission to spend the remainder of the campaign in the Championship with Wigan.
"Ryan is a very promising prospect player who has experience in the Championship. I'm delighted we've got someone who is so football educated, having come through the ranks at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson. He will definitely add a new dimension to us," Wigan boss Uwe Rosler told the club's official website.
Earlier today, Fulham also sanctioned the departure of Larnell Cole to MK Dons.
