Galatasaray are reportedly close to signing Reading midfielder Jem Karacan.
The English Championship club recently confirmed that they had offered the 26-year-old an extension to his current contract at the Madejski Stadium, which is due to expire at the end of the month.
However, having held negotiations with the Turkish champions, Karacan has decided to move to Istanbul, according to NTVSpor.
The report adds that the former Turkey Under-21 international is due to finalise his switch within the next week.
Karacan joined the Royals as a trainee in 2003 and he has gone on to make 175 appearances.
