Sunday's Serie A predictions including Venezia vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Venezia vs. Inter Milan.

Genoa vs. Parma (Sunday, 11.30am)

Separated by one point in the Serie A standings, both Genoa and Parma will seek their first win of 2025 in Sunday's lunchtime kickoff, as they meet at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The hosts have yet to win a league game on home soil this season, but they still sit just above their Emilian counterparts in Italy's top flight.

We say: Genoa 1-0 Parma

Serie A's most improved defence hosts the league's second-worst back line, so Genoa should shut Parma out and secure maximum points.

One goal could decide the outcome at Marassi, where the home side are set to finally celebrate their first league win.

Venezia vs. Inter Milan (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Following their derby defeat in the Supercoppa Italiana, reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan will aim to get straight back on track when they visit Venezia on Sunday.

Though Inter threw away a two-goal lead to lose the supercup final against their arch-rivals, they have won all of their last five league games while scoring 19 goals.

We say: Venezia 0-3 Inter Milan

As Inter will be fired up to prove a point, Venezia could be presented with a formidable task at Stadio Penzo.

The Nerazzurri almost always bounce back from defeat with a win, so expect Simone Inzaghi's side to prevail.

Bologna vs. Roma (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Belatedly playing their first game of the new year, Bologna will welcome Roma to Stadio Dall'Ara on Sunday evening.

After sitting out last week's Serie A action while their planned opponents were taking part in the Supercoppa Italiana, they now host a side buoyed by Rome derby success.

We say: Bologna 1-1 Roma

This clash will put Roma's newfound resilience to the test, as Bologna are usually tough to beat at the Dall'Ara.

The hosts have a five-point lead over their capital-city counterparts - with two games in hand - and they can preserve that healthy advantage with a low-scoring draw.

Napoli vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 7.45pm)

On a run of four straight wins, Napoli will continue their quest to regain the Scudetto on Sunday evening, when they welcome Hellas Verona to Stadio Maradona.

Verona pulled off a major upset when the sides met on the opening matchday, and they now aim to defy long odds by doing the double.

We say: Napoli 2-0 Hellas Verona

There will be no repeat of Verona's shock win in the summer, as Napoli are a much tougher nut to crack now.

The hosts may have a few key players short of fitness, but they still boast sufficient firepower to beat an improving away side.
