Team News: Gian Piero Gasperini makes four changes

Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini makes four changes for his first game back in charge - a trip to fellow strugglers Catania.

New Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini has rung the changes for his first game back in charge this afternoon against Catania.

Gasperini switches to a 4-3-3 formation as Mario Santana and Thomas Manfredini get a recall, with Francesco Lodi also starting against his former club.

Alberto Gilardino will lead the line for the visitors, with Juarj Kukca pushed further forward in an advanced role.

Catania are without Nicolas Spolli through injury, but do have Lucas Castro fit to start out wide in support of Golzalo Bergessio.

Catania: Andujar, Alvarez, Legrottaglie, Bellusci, Biraghi, Plasil, Tachtsidis, Almiron, Barrientos, Bergessio, Castro

Genoa: Perin; Antonini, Portanova, Manfredini; Vrsaljko, Matuzalem, Lodi, Sampirisi; Kucka, Gilardino, Santana
