Andreas Herzog hails Toni Kroos

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos receives praise for his performances at the World Cup from Andreas Herzog.

Former Austria international Andreas Herzog believes that Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has had an "extraordinary tournament" at the ongoing World Cup.

The Bayern Munich player, who is thought to be on the verge of signing for Real Madrid, has featured in all six of his country's matches so far in Brazil, scoring two goals in the process.

When asked for his opinion on which member of the German squad has impressed him the most, Herzog told Goal.com: "Toni Kroos is having an extraordinary tournament. His passing is amazing, he orchestrates the midfield. Every big club, especially Real Madrid is interested in signing him and this pushes him."

Kroos is expected to start tonight's final against Argentina in Rio de Janeiro.
