Germany coach Joachim Low excited by "special" semi-final against Brazil

Germany coach Joachim Low expresses his excitement ahead of Tuesday's World Cup semi-final against host nation Brazil.

Germany coach Joachim Low has expressed his excitement ahead of his team's World Cup semi-final against Brazil.

The two footballing giants meet in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday night with the winner facing either the Netherlands or Argentina in Sunday's final.

The Germans last reached the World Cup final in 2002 before eventually losing to tomorrow evening's opponents.

"This is a highlight now; it's something special and amazing. I'm looking forward to it so much, and everybody in the squad is too," Low told FIFA.com.

"I think all Germans are also, and one thing's for sure - we desperately want to play in the Maracana in Rio again [for the final]."

Germany made it through to the last four of the tournament thanks to a narrow 1-0 victory over France in Rio de Janeiro.
