Germany have been dealt an injury scare ahead of the World Cup, with Marco Reus limping off in the first half of their warm-up game against Armenia tonight.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder appeared to twist his ankle just prior to the break in Mainz, in Joachim Low's side's final match before they depart for Brazil.
He tried to resume, but was eventually helped off the pitch and reportedly taken to a nearby hospital, with Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski replacing him as the opening 45 minutes ended goalless.
Reus, who is reported to be a transfer target of Manchester United, Barcelona and Arsenal, has been an integral part of the Germany team since debuting in 2011, scoring seven times in 20 appearances.
