Getafe, Granada share points

Getafe and Granada play to a 3-3 draw after both sides had a player sent off in La Liga.

Getafe and Granada both finished their match with 10 men as they shared a 3-3 draw at Coliseum Alfonzo Perez in La Liga this evening.

The home side broke the deadlock after just six minutes, as a fast break from Diego Castro set up Ciprian Marica for a powerful finish from the edge of the six-yard box.

Yousseff El-Arabi and Mohammed Fatau both had chances to get Granada back on level terms, but the visitors had to wait until the 35th minute for an equaliser, with Riki slicing the ball in from an El-Arabi corner.

However, Getafe were back in front just three minutes later through a Lisandro Lopez header following a Jaime Gavilan cross.

The visitors were able to find their second equaliser following a strong start to the second half, as Brayan Angulo set up El-Arabi for the header.

Granada had to play the final 20 minutes of the match a man short after Manuel Iturra picked up his second yellow card of the evening for a foul on Pablo Sarabia.

The hosts quickly made their advantage count, taking the lead for the third time in the match through an Angel Lafita tap-in from close range.

Sarabia came close to adding a fourth for Getafe shortly after, but his drilled effort was well saved by Roberto.

The miss proved costly in the 77th minute when El-Arabi found the target with a header for the second time, helping the visitors come from behind again.

The referee made the match 10-a-side for the final 10 minutes as Sergio Escudero brought Riki down with a lunging challenge, earning him his second booking of the night.

Getafe looked the more likely of the two sides to find a late winner, as Marica had a couple of chances to complete his brace in the closing minutes of the game, but neither side could find the target again.
