Burton Albion's promotion hopes were dealt a blow after they were beaten 1-0 by Chesterfield thanks to a Drew Talbot strike.

York moved off the foot of the table at Aldershot's expense due to their goalless draw at Bristol Rovers, while Jason Banton's goal gave Plymouth a 1-0 win over Exeter to boost their fight for survival.
